Abstract

Kestabilan lereng merupakan isu kritis dalam industri pertambangan, terutama pada jalan hauling yang umumnya digunakan sebagai akses pengangkutan batubara ke tempat penumpukan (stockpile) dan mobilitas alat. PT X yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Kutai Barat, Kalimantan Timur memiliki infrastruktur jalan hauling sepanjang 90 kilometer (km). Pada Februari 2024 terjadi longsor di jalan hauling KM 78.500 arah kosongan, hasil investigasi geoteknik menunjukkan bahwa penyebab kelongsoran adalah adanya rembesan pada crest lereng, adanya genangan air pada kaki lereng, dan kurangnya maintenance pada lereng existing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kestabilan lereng timbunan (counterweight) sebagai usaha remediasi lereng jalan hauling di PT X area KM 78.500. Desain counterweight yang direncanakan memiliki geometri kemiringan lereng tunggal 300, lebar lereng tunggal 15 meter, dan tinggi lereng tunggal 10 meter. Adapun pada lereng timbunan diberikan perkuatan berupa boulder dan kayu pancang untuk meningkatkan faktor keamanan lereng timbunan hingga 1.716.
